Beast Warriors of Zagul-Tîn

Zagul-Tîn Werebear
Zagul-Tîn is a tungesti tribe that prays solely to what they call the Bear Spirit, which is really just a different manifestation of the god Silvanus.

Like most tungesti, the Zagul-Tîn have a distrust of the arcane, which does not equally apply to the druidic and shamanic arts.

The Zagul-Tîn have a custom that when a warrior reaches fighting age, he is bitten by a werebear. Those strong enough to survive the first night when the beast blood takes over, become werebears. Those that do not survive this first onset of lycanthropy are forgotten.

The nomadic lands of this tribe covers parts of Hlothruk and tracts of the Troll Bogs.

In the Athena Crusade, the werebear army fielded by the Zagul-Tîn proved particularly useful in fighting the undead. This was because the werebears ritually anointed their claws in liquid soul-fire, a substance that is devastatingly effective against undead.
